How to start

| 1. Download the evaluation version of IMDetect
Instant Messenger Monitor Software from our official website. |
| 2. Confirm your network topology. If your
network is connected by hub, you can run the program on any computer.
But for switch, you need to enable monitoring feature for your switch,
run the program on Internet gatesway, or add a hub into your network.
We have discussed this at our Sniffer FAQ page. After
you finish network configuration, IMDetect Instant Messenger Monitor
Software could capture AIM conversations from other computers on the
same LAN. Otherwise, it may capture AIM conversations from local computer
only. |
| 3. Execute the program, select a working
network adapter in the program, and click the start button to capture. |
| 4. Click items on the left pane to view
captured conversations for users from local network. |
| 5. Click report button to export captured
conversations into a HTML file for future reference and analysis.
You can choose to report all conversations, selected user's only,
selected buddy's only, or selected direct connection's only. |
